Concord General Contracting celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Joseph P. Spracale Elementary School’s upgraded playground. Concord General Contracting partnered with Tempe Elementary Schools, Play It Safe Playgrounds, and Golden Canyon Concrete for a pro bono project to improve the playground’s accessibility.
The ceremony was a big success, with the children eager to begin playing.
“Thank you for making recess time a little bit more enjoyable for all Spracale students,” said Tempe Elementary Schools.
Through various partnerships, Concord General Contracting was honored to complete this project at no cost to the elementary school.
The team installed a STEM play panel, an additional inclusive swing, and an ADA-compliant path to access these play structures. These upgrades will create a more inclusive and accessible environment for children of all ages and abilities to play together.
